Job DescriptionPOSITION DESCRIPTION:The Auditor is responsible for performing Nuclear Oversights qualityassurance assessment activities at Callaway Energy Center (CEC) to provideearly identification, effective communication, and timely follow-up of qualityand regulatory issues. Key responsibilities include:- Conduct intrusive assessments and inspections to identify issues beforethey are identified by external organizations or become self-revealing.- Identify and help resolve performance gaps.- Escalate long standing problems or issues that are not being properlyaddressed.- Continuously improve by conducting self assessments, benchmarking, andmissed opportunity reviews.- Issue reports that are concise, factual, and timely and provide insight tothe audited department to improve performance. Demonstrate ability tointerface with Station Management to clearly communicate issues.- Prepare and review new and revised Nuclear Oversight Department proceduresas assigned.- Participate in Quality Assurance training.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:EducationAssociates Degree in Engineering, Chemistry or Health Physics OR BachelorsDegree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Health Physics required.ExperienceFive or more years of nuclear power experience in Chemistry or Health Physicsrequired. Prior experience with implementing quality assurance programelements preferred.OtherMust have strong decision making, verbal and written communication, and humanrelations skills. Must have previous experience or demonstrated ability withMS Word to efficiently prepare written reports and correspondence.
